Partner with SMR Talent Collective from anywhere in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, or Ireland as a remote Telecommute Hardware Architecture, RTL & Electronic CAD Specialist — Digital Domain Advisor ($50 - $100/hour). This specialist role focuses on evaluating AI model outputs, authoring domain-specific rubrics, and validating technical workflows involving AutoCAD, CAD, Python, RTL.

Project Responsibilities

• Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision.
• Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.
• Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings.
• Translate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models.
• Decompose complex components into appropriate geometric features.
• Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations.

Required Expertise

• Available Openings: 10 open positions
• Core Competencies: AutoCAD, CAD, Python, RTL
• Relevant tools may include build123d, CadQuery, FreeCAD, OpenCascade, Fusion 360, Onshape, SolidWorks, trimesh, or other CAD and geometry software. No specific tool is mandatory if your experience is transferable.
• Formal education and years of professional experience are not strict requirements. Mechanical designers, CAD specialists, engineers, researchers, makers, and independent technical experts are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate the relevant skills.
