Telecommute Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) — Digital AI Training Advisor

Partner with SMR Talent Collective from anywhere in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, or Ireland as a remote Telecommute Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) — Digital AI Training Advisor ($50 - $70/hour). This specialist role focuses on evaluating AI model outputs, authoring domain-specific rubrics, and validating technical workflows involving ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT.

Project Responsibilities

• Assess and benchmark model-generated clinical notes and summaries against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Code model-generated diagnostic and procedural information from the record using ICD and CPT/HCPCS classification systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding, ensuring the integrity of record abstraction and data capture.
• Enter model-generated patient information into computerized inpatient and outpatient medical record databases.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.

Required Expertise

• ICD-10 coding experience.
• Access to up-to-date official ICD-10 and CPT coding books, as well as E&M guidelines.
• Currently working in medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, or a closely related documentation role
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week
• Compensation Band: $50 - $70/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
